About SunnyJ Shores
SunnyJ Shores is a modern Renaissance woman with a life as colorful and diverse as her passions. A proud graduate of Appalachian State University, she earned dual BAs in History and Interdisciplinary Studies in 2001, followed by an MA in Human Development and Psychological Counseling in 2004.
From 2004 to 2015, she dedicated herself to teaching in South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, and Cambodia, leaving an indelible mark on her students and colleagues across Asia.
In November 2023, SunnyJ founded Tinge World, a creative publishing house specializing in activity books for adults and seniors. With a catalog of 20 thoughtfully designed titles, Tinge World reflects her commitment to fostering mental agility, dexterity, and creativity.
When she isn’t publishing or mentoring, SunnyJ dives deep—literally. A certified scuba diver trained to explore depths of 40 meters, she’s adventured beneath the waters of Egypt, Vietnam, Thailand, the USA, South Africa, and Greece, drawing inspiration from the natural world.
SunnyJ also offers Tarot readings through Wellness Resources by SunnyJ, where she provides spiritual insights and emotional clarity. Her readings are aligned with the lunar cycle, with a tradition of pausing during New Moons for rest and renewal.
A true creative spirit, SunnyJ is a skilled soap maker, candle crafter, gourmet cook, gardener, and seamstress.
Her talents extend to the world of independent film, where she has voice-acted in Air Fryer Slaughter—a project for which she also served as associate producer—and contributed as executive producer and screenplay author for the coming indie hit Mermaid Frenzy.
SunnyJ’s home is a cozy jungle hut in Phetchaburi, Thailand, where she lives with her three beloved dogs: Honey, a spunky 4-year-old toy poodle from Vietnam; Coconut, a 7-year-old Chihuahua who traveled from the USA in 2018; and Mr. Black, a wise 10-year-old Labrador born in Thailand.
From the depths of the ocean to the heart of her creative pursuits, SunnyJ Shores embodies curiosity, compassion, and boundless energy, inspiring others to explore their passions and embrace life’s adventures.
