The Producer’s Prologue

I’ve traded the road for a role,

image of a film clapboard sitting on a Dutch brick street, perhaps with "Zonklast Studios" written on it in chalk

With a cinematic spark in my soul.

Achilles Returns is the play,

In a European, indie-film way,

And Tounas is taking control.

I’ve watched as his Rush Hour soared,

A talent that can’t be ignored.

And now as Assistant, I’ll stand,

With a script and a lens in my hand,

Ready to jump right on board.

The KvK paperwork waits,

Locked behind bureaucratic gates.

Zonklast is still just a name,

In this high-stakes, administrative game,

While I juggle my business and fates.

The "Code" isn't here in my file,

But I’ve walked every technical mile.

Collaborative dreams are the seed,

For the European life that I lead,

With a rueful but confident smile.

I’m casting my lot with the bold,

In a story that’s yet to be told.

From the US to Holland I flew,

To start something gritty and new,

And watch as the vision unfolds.

"While the administrative wheels of Zonklast Studios are still grinding through the Dutch system, the creative wheels are already at full speed. Collaborating with George Tounas is the exact kind of high-caliber European partnership I envisioned when I applied for my DAFT visa. Onward to the set." ~SunnyJ
